Stitches From the Heart

One of the guiding principles of the Secret Stitching Society is treating every person with dignity and kindness. That's why we take part in compassion stitching projects, creating knitted knockers for women who have had undergoing breast cancer surgery.

We also stitch Soap Sacks for those in need. A simple, meaningful item that helps stretch the life of a bar of soap while doubling as a washcloth. It ensures that every bit of soap, no matter how small, can be used to the very end - a small act of care and practicality stitched with love. Did you know many people who receive SNAP assistance have to choose between food and hygeine products?

Please Note:

  • Each of these projects have yarn and size specifications.

  • All projects can be dropped off at any of our events, or mailed to us.

  • We will fill the Knitted Knockers for you, tag it, and disperse it.

  • For the Soap Sack, we will provide the soap to go in it, tag it, and disperse it.

            Happy Stitching!
