Fresh off a a trip to the island of Fair Isle, Carla will take you on a visual journey into the Shetland Islands. Not only will you learn how to knit Fair Isle style, but you will leave with an understanding of the culture and richness of where the technique comes from.
 
Homework must be completed before the retreat:
Choose 2 to 3 colors of fingering weight yarn. Cast on 60 stitches and k2p2 in the round for six rounds with one of the colors (main color). Bring your finished homework  as well as the other color yarns to the class.
